14.2 mm metal drill bit HSS. A professional NWKa straight-shank twist drill with a drilling diameter of 14.2 mm. Designed for professional machining of metals, hard unalloyed tool steels, nonferrous metals, metal alloys, and plastics. Its increased hardness, abrasion resistance, and ability to withstand demanding operating conditions result from the special HSS high-speed steel used in its manufacture.
This steel improves both drilling precision and efficiency. Straight-shank drills of this type can be used in benchtop drill presses, drilling machines, and CNC machine tools. 14.2 metal drill bit mm features two central cutting edges, ground edges, and a 118° point angle. It enables accurate drilling and efficient chip evacuation up the hole. The superior properties of high-speed steel also ensure a long drill bit service life and resistance to mechanical damage, reducing overall machining costs.
