Ø17.75 metal drill bit with a straight shank
17.75 mm metal drill bit HSS. High-quality straight shank twist drill with ground edges, designed for drilling holes with a diameter of 17.75 mm. The drill has a point angle of 118°, two central cutting edges, and specially ground cutting edges resistant to impacts and lateral forces. Drills of this type are manufactured to the NWKa, DIN 338 dimensional standard. They are made of advanced high-speed steel (HSS). This specialized tool steel offers exceptional cutting properties. Compared with conventional tool steel, HSS provides higher machining productivity, improved drilling precision, and the ability to cut very hard materials that are difficult to machine. Furthermore, our drills for metal, 17.75 mm resist wear even at the high temperatures generated during high-speed machining. The drill cutting edges very rarely suffer mechanical damage, significantly extending their service life.
