2.5 mm metal drill bit HSS. A modern twist drill with a smooth straight shank, manufactured from special high-alloy HSS (High Speed Steel). This special tool steel enables holes to be drilled with high accuracy (holes with low surface roughness). Another advantage of HSS drills is their ability to achieve high efficiency. The steel's cutting properties make the drill suitable for drilling holes in components made from metals, carbon steels, plastics, nonferrous metals, and metal alloys. Available in our store 2.5 mm metal drill bits with straight shanks are manufactured to the dimensional standard NWKa, DIN 338. They feature two central cutting edges, flutes for efficient upward chip evacuation, and strong ground cutting edges that resist impacts and lateral forces. They are suitable for drilling machines, lathes, milling machines, and CNC machine tools.
