Die M16x1 HSS for threading, metric fine coil with a nominal diameter of M16x1. Designed for manual and machine cutting of external, left-hand threads - LH. The proper execution of threads takes place already in the first working pass, after less than two coils. Die are made in accordance with the dimensional standard DIN 22 56, and for their production used a special high-speed steel HSS 800. The properties of this steel allow the machining of hard materials whose tensile strength is equal to or does not exceed 800Mpa.
Die they are suitable for threading parts made of hard unalloyed metal steels, non-ferrous metals, metal alloys and hardened plastics. Die fine threads also show good resistance to rapid changes in temperature and its increase up to 800 degrees C. The manufacturer of the tools is the Polish company FANAR.
