Frequently asked questions
Prepare a rod (diameter 10.85-10.9 mm) with a chamfer. Clamp it securely and position the die perpendicular. Rotate counterclockwise (to the left), making two turns forward, then reverse half a turn clockwise to remove chips. When cutting a small-diameter left-hand metric fine thread, pay particular attention to perpendicularity and lubricate every 2-3 turns.
For steels up to 800 MPa, use threading oils applied before starting and replenished every 3 turns.
