Frequently asked questions
Prepare the rod (diameter 11.7-11.75 mm) with a chamfer. Clamp it securely and position the die squarely. Turn counterclockwise (to the left), making two forward turns, then back off half a turn clockwise. When cutting a small-diameter left-hand metric fine thread, check squareness and lubricate every 2-3 turns.
For structural steels, use threading oils applied before starting and replenished every 3 turns.
