This is a special tool steel designed for the production of professional cutting tools, exposed to harsh working conditions and high temperatures (up to 600 degrees C).
HSS steel increases the resistance of tools to abrasive wear, increases the durability of die to frictional conditions at significant unit pressures, and also increases the resistance of blades to potential mechanical damage occurring during the threading of hard materials. Die are suitable for machining materials in the category P1.2 - P1.3. These include unalloyed steels, auto steels, metals, metal alloys, hardened plastics.
