Complete notching of M20 threads takes place in just one pass, after less than two coils - 1.75P nut. The threading machine has 5 chip holes, and the required diameter of the shaft is 19.79 mm. Chip holes allow for quick and efficient removal of excess cut material, which contributes to greater efficiency of the thread cutter.
For proper use of the thread cutter, we need a thread cutter holder - in the case of manual threading or a lathe thread cutter holder. The process of threading the M20 external thread itself is very simple and in one pass. After about two full turns, we reverse the dies to break the chip and continue to screw the dies onto the bar. We repeat the activity of breaking the chip, depending on the resistance of the threading process.
