M27x2 fine thread hand taps
Hand Tap M27X2 ISO 529/2 6H HSS designed for making fine-twist metric threads in structural steels and cast iron; the threadmaker provides a 60-degree profile, maintaining alignment and a 6H class hole fit in workshop and assembly work.
Geometry and design: size M27, pitch P=2; right-hand direction; HSS high-speed steel, ground finish; straight grooves for uniform chip evacuation; stepped nut; cylindrical shank with square driver; recommended 25.0 mm drill bit for proper profile filling and stable guiding alignment, which further supports the M27x2 Hand Tapping Set.
- Fitting accuracy. The 6H hole coordinates with 6g threads, maintaining nominal clearance and a clean joint outline.
- Load control. Graduated nut and entry chamfer reduce torsional torque and stabilize the starting zone.
