HSS high-speed steel after grinding provides high resistance to micro-cracking and long-lasting edge sharpness. Straight chip grooves allow smooth chip removal. The ISO 529/2 system defines the division of work into an inserting (I) and finishing (II) member, which reduces torque pulsations and improves alignment. Recommended drill bit for thread: 58.0 mm; using a cooling emulsion or active oil increases surface quality and tool life.
