Hand taps M16x1 fine
Hand tapsM16x1 fine-coil HSS. High-quality professional M16x1 hand taps for manual cutting of metric fine-coil threads type M16x1, with an angle of 60 degrees, ISO DIN-13. It is suitable for cutting internal threads through and blind. The M16x1 fine-coil hand taps we offer are sold in a 2-piece set: No. 1 with an 8P cutter and No. 2 with a 2P cutter. Threading is carried out in two consecutive working steps and the allowance of the cut material corresponding to the cross-section of the groove is appropriately divided between the two tools. The threaders in question are manufactured according to ISO 529 standard from modern high-alloy HSS - High Speed Steel. This type of steel influences significantly increased resistance to possible damage of the blade during threading, and at the same time allows high-performance machining. In addition, our HSS threaders allow much higher cutting accuracy. The tolerance field is ISO2 - 6H. They are designed for machining materials of P1.2 - P1.3 category (metals, unalloyed steels, aluminum, copper, bronze, brass and plastics.
