Hand taps M4,5x0,5 fine threads

Hand tapsM4,5x0,5 fine-coil HSS - high quality taps for manual production of ordinary metric threads type M, diameter 4,5 mm, with a 2A, ISO DIN-13, 60 degrees angle. M4,5x0,5 hand taps allow chipless machining, which in practice means that the actual thread is formed as a result of kneading the corresponding grooves. In contrast to traditional chip-cutting of threads, the workpiece obtains a higher density and thus greater hardness and durability.

M4.5x0.5 hand t aps are manufactured from special high-speed tool steel HSS (High Speed Steel). Thanks to it, the threader is extremely resistant to any damage, and at the same time allows for high cutting performance. They can be used to thread parts made of materials included in the group marked with the symbol P1.2 - P1.3. These include ordinary steels, unalloyed steels (carbon), metals, non-ferrous metals (copper, aluminum), metal alloys (bronze, brass, magnesium alloys) and even thermoplastics.
