M60x2 fine thread hand taps
Hand Tap M60x2 DIN 2181/2 6H HSS is used for cutting precision M60 metric threads with a pitch of two millimeters in steels and metal alloys with strengths up to eight hundred megapascals. The two-part design - an insertion threader (I) and a finishing threader (II) - balances the torsional torque and promotes the maintenance of alignment, which translates into a six H class fit accuracy.
Technical parameters: nominal diameter sixty millimeters; pitch two millimeters; metric outline 60 degrees according to ISO 68-1; bore tolerance field 6H according to ISO 965; right-hand direction; straight grooves to promote controlled chip evacuation. Material: HSS high-speed steel, ground finish for longer edge life and reduced micro chipping. Recommended drill bit: 58.0 mm; lubrication with emulsion or active oil improves surface quality and extends blade life.
