Hand Tap M65x4 ISO 529/2 6H HSS is designed for making metric threads with a diameter of sixty-five millimeters and a pitch of four millimeters in structural steels and metal alloys up to eight hundred megapascals. The high quality of the cut and dimensional repeatability is guaranteed by the M65x4 Hand Thread Set, which allows for an even distribution of loads during the two stages of machining.
Performance characteristics: nominal diameter 65 mm, stroke 4 mm, metric profile sixty degrees according to ISO 68-1, hole tolerance 6H according to ISO 965, right-hand thread. Straight chip grooves facilitate controlled chip evacuation, and HSS high-speed steel in a ground design increases the wear resistance of cutting edges. According to ISO 529/2, the system includes an inserting (I) and finishing (II) member, which stabilizes the process and reduces torque pulsations. Recommended drill bit: 61.0 mm; use of emulsion or active oil improves surface quality and extends tool life.
