Hand tapsM28x1 fine-coil HSS - high quality taps for cutting metric fine threads with an angle of 60 degrees, type M 28x1. Designed for cutting threads in through-holes and blind holes in materials specified with the symbol P1.2 - P1.3. This category includes m.in. unalloyed steels, automatic steels, metals, non-ferrous metals (aluminum, copper), as well as metal alloys (brass, bronze) and thermoplastics. The fine-coil hand tappers we offer are sold in a 2-piece set, which includes threader No. 1 - ripper with an 8P cut and threader No. 2 - finisher with a 2P cut. M28x1 hand taps are manufactured from modern high-alloy HSS (High Speed Steel). The unique properties of this steel increase cutting efficiency, while maintaining high cutting accuracy. The tolerance class of the threads made is ISO-2/6H. Another advantage of M28x1 hand taps is also their high resistance to breaking, cracking and chipping of the blade and even blunting during thread cutting. The tools are dedicated to individual customers as well as large locksmith shops realizing unit or small batch production.
