Hand tapsM1,7x0,2 right fine thread HSS from Serbian brand FRA (Fabrika Reznog Alata - Cacak). The M1,7x0,2 right-hand hand taps in question are designed for cutting M1,7x0,2 metric fine-coil threads with an angle of 60 degrees, ISO DIN-13, made according to DIN 2181. The symbol of the taps' manufacturing class according to the standard is marked as ISO2, while the tolerance of the thread being made is 6H. They are suitable for threading through-holes and blind holes.
The advantage of hand taps M1,7x0,2 right is high resistance to possible damage of tapping blades during processing of hard and difficult-to-machine materials. This is due to the use of special high-speed cobalt HSS steel for their production. Compared to conventional tool steel, high speed steel guarantees increased strength of the thread cutters, higher machining performance and significantly increased cutting precision. Designed for cutting through and blind threads in workpieces made of materials P1.2 - P1.3. These are metals, unalloyed steels (carbon), non-ferrous metals and their alloys, as well as hard plastics.
