M9x0.5 hand taps
Hand Tap M9x0.5 DIN 2181/2 6H HSS is designed for making precision fine threads in structural steels, brass and aluminum alloys. Thanks to its precise execution and refined geometry, it guarantees a clean thread outline and a stable 6H class fit. In workshop applications, the high dimensional repeatability and smoothness of operation is supported by Set Taps Manual M9x0.5, allowing controlled machining even in blind holes.
Performance parameters include a nominal diameter of nine millimeters, a pitch of 0.5 millimeters, a sixty-degree profile in accordance with ISO 68-1, and a bore tolerance of 6H in accordance with ISO 965. A two-member arrangement in accordance with DIN 2181/2 - an insertion (I) and finishing (II) threader - balances torsional loads and increases guiding alignment. Ground HSS high-speed steel provides wear resistance and maintains a sharp cutting edge, and lubrication with emulsion or active oil significantly improves surface quality.
