Cylindrical countersink with pilot 18x8,5 for metal
High-quality 18x8,5 cylindrical countersink with pilot 8,5, cylindrical face type DWCb, designed for machining hard and hard-to-machine materials of P1.2 class - P1.3. These countersinks are recommended for further machining of previously drilled holes at 90 degrees. They are suitable for countersinking holes for flat screw heads, as well as for enlarging and otherwise shaping their size, and for leveling out irregularities on the surface of holes.
They have a tapered shank and a pilot, which centers the tool in the hole, reduces its vibration and at the same time improves the precision of machining. They are guided in a medium-precision transition hole for M10 - 18x8.5 threads. 18x8.5 cylindrical countersinks are manufactured to the highest standards from modern high-alloy HSS (High Speed Steel), according to the dimensional standard DIN 375. Their advantage is high resistance to harsh cutting conditions, as well as increased resistance to potential mechanical damage to the blades.
