Cylindrical countersink with pilot 28x24, cylindrical-head with Morse taper shank and pilot. Designed for hole enlargement as well as face machining around holes
Modern 28x24 cylindrical-face countersink, type DWCb, with cylindrical shank, complying with the dimensional standard DIN 375. Designed for machining 28x24 holes at 90 degrees. It is most commonly used for countersinking holes for flat screw heads. It can also be used for enlarging holes, removing irregularities on their surface o also other shaping of hole sizes. Cylindrical-face countersinks in our offer are equipped with a pilot, which perfectly positions the countersink blade in the center of the hole. This makes it possible to achieve higher machining precision, reduce vibrations and reduce the risk of the blade running off to the side of the hole. The offered 28x14 cylind rical countersinks with pilot are manufactured from modern high-grade HSS high-speed steel. This type of tool steel improves the cutting properties of the countersinks. First of all, it makes them more resistant to harsh cutting conditions, including high temperatures created as a result of high-speed cutting. In addition, the blades of the countersinks are resistant to any mechanical damage (chipping, breaking, cracking). They can be used for machining P1.2 - P1.3 grade materials using various types of machine tools (conventional and CNC).
