Ø14.5 Inox cobalt drill bit for metal
14.5 mm cobalt drill bit for metal HSSE Inox. A high-quality Inox cobalt twist drill with a straight shank, manufactured to the NWKa DIN 338 dimensional standard. It features 2 central cutting edges and special flutes designed for rapid chip evacuation upward through the hole. The drill also has a 118° point angle, and the resulting holes remain aligned along their entire length. The straight-shank drills available in our store deliver very high cutting performance. This results from the special HSSE high-speed steel with the addition of 5% cobalt used in their manufacture. This steel composition ensures that 14.5 cobalt drill bit for metal withstand very demanding cutting conditions, including the high temperatures (up to 670°C) generated during high-speed drilling. The drills can be used to machine alloy steels, stainless steel, acid-resistant steel, heat-resistant and creep-resistant steels, as well as cast steel and cast iron. These tools also offer high resistance to mechanical damage (breakage, cracking, chipping), extending their service life. They are suitable for conventional drilling machines, lathes, milling machines, and CNC machine tools.
