Cylindrical countersink with pilot 16x9 for metal
High quality 16x9 cylind rical countersink designed for professional processing of previously drilled holes at an angle of 90 degrees. It is a countersink in accordance with DIN 373 with a cylindrical shank, for 16x9 holes. Equipped with a pilot, whose task is to accurately center the countersink in the hole, which prevents it from going sideways, and also affects greater precision in machining. Cylindrical countersinks 16x9 of this type are used not only for countersinking holes, but also for their other face machining. They are made of modern, high-grade HSS High Speed Steel. Tools made of this steel are resistant to heavy cutting conditions and can withstand the high temperatures generated during high-speed machining. They also exhibit high hardness and wear resistance. The blades of countersinks are rarely subject to mechanical damage (fractures, cracks, chipping), which gives the countersinks a very long service life. They are suitable for machining holes in parts made of unalloyed steels, metals, nonferrous metals, metal alloys and plastics.
