Countersink with pilot 10x5,5 for metal
Cylindrical countersink10x5,5 mm, NWCa type, according to DIN 373. Designed for professional machining of previously drilled holes for flat screw heads. It can be used for countersinking holes at right angles, enlarging holes and also for other shaping of hole surfaces. We offer you cylindrical-shank countersinks with a fixed pilot, which increases the precision of machining and also centers the tool in the hole minimizing the risk of the countersink going sideways. The 10x5.5 cylindrical countersinks in question, which are guided in a medium-precision transition hole, are made of special HSS high-speed steel. Its high properties directly contribute to better machining results. First of all, they increase the strength of the countersinks to withstand harsh cutting conditions, including high temperatures of up to 600 degrees created during high-speed machining at increased speeds. The countersinks are suitable for machining P1.2 - P1.3 grade materials (carbon steels, metals, copper, bronze, aluminum, brass). They can be used for conventional machine tools, drills and CNC machine tools.
