High-quality long drill bit for metal fi 5,9 with smooth cylindrical shank, made according to the dimensional standard NWKb, DIN 340. It is suitable for drilling through-holes and blind holes with a section of 5,9 mm in materials marked with the symbol P1.2 - P1.3. This group of materials includes m.in. unalloyed steels (carbon steels, metals, metal alloys, plastics). The high cutting properties of the drill bits allow very precise drilling, and the holes made are not very rough and axial along the entire length. An advantage of the drill bits is also the possibility of drilling at high speed, during which a high temperature is generated (up to 600 degrees C). The blades of long drills for metal fi 5,9 are resistant to any mechanical damage, including fractures, cracks, chipping, chipping and even dulling. The high durability of the drill bits is due to the use of special HSS high-speed steel for their production, which not only causes better drilling results, but also reduces the overall cost of machining.
