These are mainly unalloyed steels (carbon), metals, copper and aluminum alloys that give short chips, as well as non-ferrous metals and thermoplastics. Long drills for metal fi 7,3 offered in our store comply with the dimensional standard NWKb, DIN 340, have 2 central blades, strong ground cutting edges, a tip angle of 118 degrees and special grooves for quick removal of chips from the drilled hole. Drills of this type are characterized by very high cutting efficiency, which reduces working time and makes better use of the processing stations available. In addition, the drills allow very precise drilling (holes with low roughness). Also noteworthy is the high strength of the drill blades to withstand harsh working conditions and resistance to any mechanical damage caused during the processing of hard materials at high speed, during which a high temperature is generated (up to 600 degrees C). The drills are suitable for conventional drilling machines, milling machines, lathes and modern CNC-controlled automatic machining machines.
