The long metal drill fi 6,7 is made in accordance with the dimensional standard NWKb, DIN 340 from special molybdenum high-speed steel HSS (High Speed Steel). It is a steel distinguished by exceptional cutting properties. Compared with drill bits made of conventional tool steel, drill bits made of HSS are characterized by greater hardness, wear resistance, especially at the high temperatures created when drilling at high speeds. They are also characterized by resistance to mechanical damage such as fractures, cracks, chipping, dulling. The drills are designed for conventional drills, lathes, milling machines and computer numerical control machine tools - CNC. They have two central blades, ground cutting edges insensitive to impact and lateral forces and a tip angle of 118 degrees. The drills are also characterized by long service life.
