For the production of this type of drill a special HSS - High Speed Steel was used. This is a modern tool steel characterized by high cutting properties. First of all, drills made of this steel allow high-performance and very precise drilling. The holes made are axial along the entire length and with a low degree of roughness. Long drills for metal fi 10,9 made of HSS steel are resistant to very harsh processing conditions and their blades are resistant to breaking, cracking, chipping, chipping and even dulling. They are suitable for drilling holes in unalloyed steel, metals, metal alloys and plastics. They are recommended for workshop and production work using traditional drills, lathes and milling machines, as well as CNC - computer numerical control machine tools.
