Center drill NWRc 4 cobalt for making common pre-drills with a diameter of 4 mm and a countersink angle of 60 degrees. This type of pre-drilling is required to guide the drill during the actual drilling, as well as to reduce the effect of its run-out during the first stage of machining. The drill bits we offer have two strong cutting blades and special chip grooves, whose task is to efficiently drain the cut chips. The drills are made in accordance with DIN 333 A from a special high-grade HSS-E high-speed steel, the main component of which is cobalt - 5%. This unique composition of the steel has a significant effect on increasing the tool life and also on increasing the machining efficiency. HSS-E steel drills are suitable for machining stainless steel, heat-resistant steel, acid-resistant steel, heat-resistant steel, cast iron, cast steel and alloy steels. Even under severe cutting conditions, they maintain high mechanical efficiency and are not subject to mechanical damage.
