Long 1 1/4" inch pipe tap
Professional long 1 1/4 inch tap inch pipe machine tap for cutting parallel pipe threads. Tap type NGRf, G 1 1/4", 55° angle, compliant with DIN ISO 228. Parallel pipe threads are used to connect individual fitting components. They are most commonly cut on pipes and connecting components. Our inch pipe machine taps are made of modern high-alloy HSS high-speed steel. This material ensures long tool life while allowing the tools to machine hard materials under demanding operating conditions. The tap cutting edges withstand even the high temperatures (up to 600°C) generated during cutting and rarely suffer mechanical damage (breakage, chipping). It should also be noted that long 1 3/8 inch pipe taps for machine use enable high-productivity machining and high cutting precision. These advantages make them suitable for professional tapping in large metalworking shops. They are suitable for machining materials in categories P1.2 – P1.3. The tap comes from warehouse stock and was manufactured by the Polish company FWP (Precision Products Factory). It bears the R designation because the G standard was not in force in Poland when the tap was manufactured. It is a 100% fully functional G inch tap, manufactured to dimensions and tolerances compliant with current G thread standards according to DIN-ISO 228
