Die M20x1.5 cobalt for stainless steel fine machine round is a multi-cutting tool designed for cutting external threads. It is a uniform thread cutter, which means that it makes a thread in one pass, after less than 2 turns, or more precisely 1.75 P, a full thread in 6g tolerance is already made. The working principle of die is to screw it on (like a nut on a bolt) during which the blades die cut the thread.
The tool is made of high-grade SKC high-speed steel from the HSSE family. It is possible to use die M20x1.5 cobalt both in manual and machine processing. An important issue when making threads by hand is the use of toolholders for threading dies, thanks to which the proper execution of the thread is ensured and damage can be avoided die.
