M8 DIN 371 through machine tapping for stainless steel
Professional M8 machine tapping thread er with reinforced shank designed for making metric ordinary threads type M, diameter 8 mm. It is suitable for efficient threading of through holes of different lengths, in materials giving short chips. The threadmaker is made in accordance with the dimensional standard DIN 381, type of nut B (3.5 - 5.5 P). The advantage of the tapping tool we offer is the increased resistance to heavy cutting conditions, which is a consequence of the use of a special HSSE high-speed steel with the addition of about 5% cobalt in its production. This element increases the hardness and durability of the tapping tool, and thus makes it more resistant to any mechanical damage (fractures, cracks, chipping, chipping). The properties of HSSE steel make it possible to machine very hard and hard-to-machine materials. These include alloy steels, heat-resistant and heat-resistant steel, stainless steel, acid-resistant steel, cast iron, cast steel.
