M1.8 machine tap for steel, straight flute
High quality M1.8 through-through machine t metric, type M, with a reduced shank for general-purpose use. Suitable for cutting standard coarse metric threads with diameter Ø1.8, thread angle 60°, tolerance class ISO2(6H), ISO DIN-13. Manufactured to ISO 529 from modern high-alloy high-speed steel – HSSE. This exceptional tool steel gives the metric machine taps we offer very good cutting performance. Above all, they enable high-productivity machining and significantly reduce machining time (better utilization of existing workstations). Furthermore, these M1.8 steel machine taps are highly resistant to demanding cutting conditions, particularly the high temperatures generated during high-speed cutting. The tap cutting edges resist breakage, cracking, chipping, and fracture. This also ensures longer service life.
