High-quality general-purpose tap with a reduced shank for right-hand metric fine threads. Features a form D chamfer (3.5-5 P) and straight flutes for short through holes. Tolerance class of the threads produced: ISO2-6H. The taps offered are made of special HSSE high-speed steel with added cobalt (approximately 5%). This element improves the cutting performance of the taps and their ability to withstand demanding operating conditions. This steel allows fine-thread machine taps to machine hard and difficult-to-machine alloy steels, stainless steel, heat-resistant steel, acid-resistant steel, cast steel, cast iron, nonferrous metals, and metal alloys. Even under very demanding conditions (high cutting temperatures up to 670°C), the cutting edges of the taps resist wear and other mechanical damage (breakage, cracking). High cutting performance increases machining productivity and improves machining accuracy.
