Frequently asked questions
The tool performs exceptionally well with austenitic steels of types 304 and 316, ferritic materials, and duplex grades. It is also suitable for acid-resistant steels used in the chemical and food processing sectors.
Specialized pastes or oils with EP additives formulated for stainless steel must be used. Using ordinary machine oils drastically reduces the life of the tool's cutting edges.
Use a die stock designed for dies with a diameter of 20 mm. Standard threading holders in size No. 1 or universal models for 20-25 mm are fully suitable.
