Carbide insert turning 22 IR 4 ISO HTA Horn is designed for precision turning of metric internal threads with a 60-degree triangular profile. The full profile reproduces the entire outline of the coil - from the bottom to the tip - ensuring compliance with the ISO standard, high dimensional accuracy and a smooth thread surface.
Carbide insert dedicated to a pitch of 4 mm, it allows the machining of metric regular (M) and fine threads (MF). The optimized geometry of the 22 IR stabilizes the process in batch and unit production, reducing vibration and cutting edge wear.
The HTA carbide execution guarantees high wear resistance and reliability in a wide range of materials: carbon and alloy steels, cast iron, stainless steels and non-ferrous metals. The protective coating increases blade life and maintains thread quality under increased heat loads.
