The state-of-the-art SEKR 1204 multi-sharpened insert , with a side length of 12.70 mm and a thickness of 4.76 mm. Made to the highest standards by the Swedish company SECO. It is suitable for high-performance machining, even in very harsh conditions. This is a SEKR 1204 AFTN-ME 16 insert made of a special grade of PVD-coated carbide - T25M. It is a grade designed for high- and low-speed machining. SEKR multi-cutting inserts from Seco are suitable for heavy-duty machining and are resistant to fracture, breakage and other mechanical damage to the blades, as well as to abrasive wear under high temperature. They can be used for machining parts made of stainless steel, alloy and unalloyed steels, cast steel, cast iron and other hard and hard-to-machine materials. Recommended for various types of conventional machine tools and computer-controlled numerical control machine tools.
