Construction of feeler gauge set
A gap gauge consists of a certain number of plates (also called plates or leaves) of different thicknesses, most often set in a common housing.
There are 6 products.
The measurement is made by selecting and inserting a plate of the appropriate thickness into the gap, so that there is no play. The thickness of the plate then corresponds to the width of the gap to be measured.
The two most common types of slot gauges are wedge and leaf gauges. Slot gauges are most often used in automotive workshops and also wherever the distance between components is of great importance.
