Professional tapping NPTF, inch, according to the dimensional standard DIN 374, size 1/2 - 14, nut C - for through-holes and blind holes in materials giving short chip. NPTF tapping is designed for threading is made of special HSSE high speed steel with 5% cobalt. It is a specialized tool steel characterized by above-average strength for very heavy cutting conditions and also increased hardness and durability. Taps are suitable for machining hard materials, including but not limited to: alloyed and unalloyed steels, stainless steel, acid-resistant and heat-resistant steel, heat-resistant steel, cast steel and various grades of cast iron (gray, ductile, malleable). They are dedicated to both retail customers and large industrial plants for high-performance machining at increased speeds, even at high temperatures up to 670 degrees C.
