Designed for machining workpieces made of very hard and hard-to-machine materials such as alloy steels, stainless steel, acid-resistant steel, heat-resistant steel, cast steel, gray cast iron, ductile iron and others. Such high cutting capabilities of taps are possible due to the use of a unique high-speed steel with added cobalt (5%) - HSSE - for their production. This steel is much more durable and resistant n heavy cutting conditions. It is distinguished by the possibility of high-performance cutting, at high speeds, during which high temperatures are generated - even up to 670 degrees C. Long machine taps M27x2 left are resistant to abrasion under the influence of this temperature, and additionally show high resistance to other mechanical damage (cracks, fractures, chipping, breakage). High machining efficiency affects the reduction of cutting time, and thus allows a more rational use of owned workstations and lower overall machining costs.
