Hand tapping M18x1,5 HSS end threader
Hand threader M18x1,5 fine-coil HSS - high quality hand finishing threader No. 2 (2P) for performing the second stage of threading. It is designed for metric fine-coil threads, type M18x1.5, with an angle of 60 degrees, ISO DIN-13. The use of the thread tapping machine should be preceded by the use of the proper thread tapping machine No. 2 (8P). The process of realization of threading is divided into two stages, and it is necessary to have a special knob for threading.
These types of fine hand threaders are made in accordance with ISO2 from special HSS (High Speed Steel). It is a steel characterized by high hardness, durability and resistance to abrasion even in very harsh conditions. Thanks to it, threaders are resistant to any mechanical damage (breakage, cracking, chipping, dulling), and thus guarantee a long period of their use and reduce the overall cost of machining. In addition, the threaders make it possible to achieve high cutting efficiency and high precision machining at the same time. The tolerance class of the threads made is ISO2(6H). The taps are designed for machining hard and hard-to-machine materials of the P1.2 - P1.3. class, which include unalloyed (carbon) steels, metals, non-ferrous metals, metal alloys and plastics.
