They are used for cutting threads in through-holes and blind holes, in parts made of unalloyed steel, metals, non-ferrous metals, metal alloys and plastics. The M1,6x0,2 fine-coil manual thread ers we offer are sold in a complete set, which includes two threaders of 8P and 2P cut. Threading is carried out manually, using a special knob, in two successive passes. The taps are manufactured in accordance with DIN 2181 from special HSS high-speed steel. This is a tool steel with exceptional cutting properties.
First of all, M1.6x0.2 hand taps are resistant to very difficult cutting conditions and even in the case of machining very hard materials, they maintain high machining performance, increased threading precision and resistance of blades to mechanical damage (fractures, cracks, chipping).
