Made in accordance with DIN 24230, it is entirely made of modern HSS 800 high-speed steel. Thanks to the high properties of this steel, the die 1/4-18 inch tubular tapered threading dies we offer are characterized by high strength for very difficult cutting conditions. The tools are very hard, durable and wear-resistant. They show good mechanical properties when cutting at high temperature - at high speed. The blades of the dies are resistant to any mechanical damage, which increases the possibility of threading and extends the life of the dies. The tools in question are designed for professional machining in large production plants and locksmith workshops. They are suitable for threading parts made of unalloyed steels, metals, nonferrous metals, metal alloys and steels with toughness up to 800 MPa.
