Tapered countersink fi 40 mm 90 degrees DIN 335 B HSS is a precision cutting tool designed for professional machining of holes up to forty millimeters in diameter, at an angle of ninety degrees. Made of wear-resistant HSS high-speed steel, it meets the stringent requirements of DIN 335 B, which ensures repeatable and reliable performance in industrial conditions.
The Morse taper shank used allows stable clamping in conventional and numerically controlled machines. The 3-blade geometry stabilizes the tool's operation, significantly reducing vibration and improving the quality of the cut surface, which is crucial for precision countersinking.
As a taper countersink for metal, the tool works well with unalloyed steel, copper, aluminum, brass and hardened engineering plastics. Thanks to its high resistance to abrasion and temperatures of up to six hundred degrees, it also works well as a fi 40 mm 90-degree conical countersink for stainless steel in heavy-duty applications.
