The ER40 system allows tools with straight shanks from 3 to 26 mm to be clamped. The clamping tolerance of each size is 1 mm, increasing versatility across applications.
Insert the collet into the nut at an angle, engage its groove with the eccentric lip, and press until it clicks into place. Then fit the nut onto the tool holder and tighten it to the recommended torque using the dedicated wrench.
