Insert the collet into the nut at an angle, engage the groove with the eccentric lip, and press until it clicks into place. After fitting the nut onto the chuck, tighten it to the recommended torque with the designated wrench.
Sizes are identified by their external dimensions: ER11 is 11.5×18 mm, ER16 is 17×28 mm, ER20 measures 21×31 mm, ER25 measures 26×34 mm, ER32 is 33×40 mm, while ER40 is defined by dimensions of 41×46 mm. The size is marked on the collet body in accordance with DIN 6499.
