Center drill NC fi 6 mm 90° from Varel is a specialized tool for precise centering of holes before drilling proper. Made of high-grade HSSE cobalt high-speed steel, it provides increased resistance to high temperatures and long life in continuous operation.
TiN (titanium nitride) coating with a hardness of ~2300 HV protects the tool from abrasion, reduces friction and improves the quality of the work surface. This makes center drill ideal for batch and precision production, including dry machining. The 90° apex angle in accordance with DIN 333A allows preparation of holes for metric threads.
