Center drill NC fi 16 mm 90° by Varel is a robust cutting tool designed for precise drilling of holes for further processing, including threading and drilling. Made from high-grade HSSE cobalt-infused high-speed steel, it offers excellent process stability and high resistance to thermal overload.

Surface coating with TiN (titanium nitride) significantly increases wear resistance, reduces friction and improves chip removal. The TiN coating makes it possible to work at higher cutting speeds and protects the tool from overheating, extending its service life. The 90° tip angle according to DIN 333A is optimized for metric threaded holes.

Stable guidance - allows to obtain a perfectly axial hole for further technological operations.
Longer cycle life - the combination of HSSE and TiN ensures reliability even in intensive operation.
Precise geometry - reduces the risk of vibration and improves the quality of the machined surface.
Use in a variety of materials - steel, non-ferrous metals, plastics, aluminum, brass.
