Carbide insert TNMM 160408 lathe, multi-point NTP35 by Polish company Baildonit. Carbide insert TNMM 160408 lathe, multi-point with heavy-duty cutting strength. This is a triangular insert type TNMM 160408 NTP35, produced by the Polish cutting tool manufacturer Baildonit. The TNMM 160408 multicutting turning inserts offered in our store have the following dimensions: side length l - 16.5 mm, insert thickness s - 4.76 mm, corner radius re - 0.8 mm. For their production, a special grade of sintered carbide NTP35 (P20-P45) coated by CVD method was used. Thanks to the technical properties of this carbide, the multicutting inserts can be used for medium and rough machining of steel and cast steel under very difficult machining conditions. They are suitable for high-performance machining at increased speeds, even at high temperatures reaching as high as 700 - 1000 degrees C. The inserts are distinguished by increased resistance to potential mechanical damage, which extends tool life and increases working comfort. The inserts are recommended for various types of machine tools, including both conventional and CNC.
