Carbide insert TNMG 160412 lathe, multi-sharpness with high cutting properties characterized by increased strength for heavy cutting conditions. This is a triangular insert, type TNMG 160412 S30 produced by the world-renowned Polish company Baildonit. It has the following dimensions: side length l - 16.5 mm, insert thickness s - 4.76 mm, corner radius re - 1.2 mm. It is made of a modern grade of sintered carbide S30, whose high technical parameters allow cutting hard materials in heavy cutting conditions, even at high temperatures reaching 700 - 1000 degrees C. TNMG 160412 multicutting inserts made of this grade of sintered carbide are designed for medium-precision and coarse machining of steel and cast steel at medium and low cutting speeds and large cross-sections of the cut layer under difficult machining conditions. They are suitable for conventional and CNC computer-controlled machine tools.
