Carbide insert TNMG 160412 lathe, multi-sharpness with high cutting properties, characterized by above-average strength for very heavy cutting conditions. This is a triangular insert, type TNMG 160412 made by the Korean company Horn.
It has the following dimensions: side length l - 16.5 mm, insert thickness s - 4.76 mm, corner radius re - 1.2 mm. It is characterized by high hardness and durability. It is suitable for conventional and CNC computer-controlled machine tools. It is manufactured from a special grade of IC 907 carbide (M15-M30) coated by CVD method. Multicutting inserts of this grade of carbide are designed for high-performance medium and rough machining of stainless steel under difficult machining conditions. Their high quality workmanship and increased resistance to potential mechanical damage (fracture, chipping, cracking) increases working comfort and prolongs service life.
