Modern SCGT 120408 lathe insert, multi-sharpness manufactured by Korean company Horn. This is an SCGT 120408 type insert with EN-SM chipbreaker, made of a high quality grade of H6018 carbide. The properties of this carbide allow professional machining of hard unalloyed and alloyed steels, non-ferrous metals, stainless steel, cast steel and various grades of cast iron.

The offered SCMT multi-cutting insert has the following dimensions: side length 12.70 mm, thickness 4.76 mm, corner radius 0.8 mm. Its advantages are increased hardness and durability and, compared to high-speed steel, higher resistance to severe cutting conditions.
